Island Park is a sort of social hub, boasting such events as Old Home Days, the Savor-the-Flavor/Taste of Williamsville Food Festival, Music in the Park Series and Christmas Caroling in the Pines. Nature lovers enjoy Glen Park, which includes waterfalls and interconnecting pools. Other parks include walking trails, wading pools, athletic fields and playground equipment for active little ones.
Natural and historic amenities are only some of the reasons why more people are calling Williamsville home these days. With median incomes above state averages, but with home values less than half of median prices statewide, residents can buy more real estate for their money, and still have enough left over to enjoy a little nightlife now and then.
